Sea Events Overview
Sea Events are mini-events that occur while sailing in the Second Sea and Third Sea. They spawn randomly when you're on a boat, offering combat challenges and valuable rewards.

Danger Level System (Third Sea)
In Third Sea, danger levels appear as bars on your screen. Higher levels mean more dangerous events—and better rewards.
Rarely any threats. Good for traveling between islands safely.
Recommended for farming Shark Teeth. Basic sea creatures spawn.
Terrorsharks, Ship Raids, and Sea Beasts can spawn. Good balance of risk/reward.
All events including Haunted Ship Raids. Required for Leviathan encounter.
Required to spawn the Frozen Dimension for Leviathan. Not recommended solo.
All Sea Event Types
Sea Beasts
Large ocean creatures that attack your ship. They come in different sizes with varying health pools.
Ship Raids
Enemy ships (two Brigade ships, sometimes a Grand Brigade) that fire cannonballs at you. Available in Second and Third Sea.
Haunted Ship Raids
Two haunted Grand Brigades with 5-6 Fish Crew Members. Spawns at Danger Level 1-6. Despite community complaints, this is one of the most important events.
Sharks & Piranhas
Smaller sea creatures that swarm around your boat. Good for farming Shark Teeth material.
Terrorsharks
Massive aggressive sharks that spawn at Danger Level 2+. Extremely dangerous but can be stunned with certain abilities.
Leviathan Boss
The Leviathan is the ultimate sea boss—a massive creature that requires coordination and preparation to defeat.
How to Spawn Leviathan
- 1Bring at least 5 players to Tiki Outpost Highland
- 2Talk to the NPC at the top to start the event
- 3Sail to extreme danger levels
- 4Wait for the Frozen Dimension to appear
- 5Find the NPC inside who teleports you to Leviathan
Warning: Leviathan is extremely difficult solo. Bring a coordinated group with high-damage fruits and at least one Shipwright to repair your boat.
Best Fruits for Sea Events
Some fruits excel in sea combat due to water-walking abilities, high damage, or survivability.
Magma (S-Tier)
Undoubtedly the best fruit for sea events. Awakened Magma allows walking on water AND provides a flight move. Unparalleled damage output melts sea beasts.
Buddha (S-Tier)
V2 transformation turns M1s into massive AoE attacks. Can permanently stun Terrorsharks while taking reduced damage. Excellent for sustained sea battles.
Ice (A-Tier)
Similar to Magma with water-walking passive when awakened. Ice [F] is useful for quickly returning to sea event parties if you die.
Portal (Utility)
Portal's [V] move (Dimensional Rift) can despawn any sea event if all players enter the rift. Useful for skipping unwanted events.
Tips & Strategies
Bring a Shipwright
Having at least one player with the Shipwright subclass ensures your boat survives long sea hunts.
Don't Solo High Danger
Multiple sea events can spawn simultaneously at high danger levels. Going alone is risky.
Protect Your Ship
If your boat is destroyed, Ship Raids and Haunted Ship Raids will immediately despawn—taking their loot with them.
Farm Haunted Ships
Despite being annoying, Haunted Ship Raids can drop ANY fruit in the game with equal probability. Worth the effort.
