Races Guide

Everything you need to know about races in Blox Fruits. From starter races to special unlockables.

Race System Overview

Races in Blox Fruits give your character passive abilities and unique skills. Unlike Devil Fruits, races don't require eating—they're a permanent aspect of your character that can be upgraded through gameplay.

Key Facts About Races

  • •All races have four versions: V1, V2, V3, and V4 (awakened)
  • •Starting races are randomly assigned when you join: Human (62.5%), Rabbit, Shark, or Angel (12.5% each)
  • •Special races (Ghoul, Cyborg) require completing quests to unlock
  • •V4 awakening requires Temple of Time quests after reaching max level (2550)

These four races can be obtained when you first join the game or through rerolling.

How to Change Race

Fragments (Free)

Pay 3,000 Fragments to Tort NPC for a random race reroll. You cannot target specific races—it's random among the four starter races.

Robux

Buy a Race Re-roll from the Products Shop for 79 Robux. Same random outcome as fragment reroll.

Important: You cannot get Ghoul or Cyborg through rerolling. However, if you've already unlocked them, you can switch back to them by talking to their respective NPCs.
